Tonight I was assured that being kind does pay off. Kevin and I were given a gift that we never would have thought to ask for, and, we were fortunate enough to receive this gift because we are "nice people." I was told, "do not ever let anyone tell you that being nice doesn't pay off." I have always tried to live my life and be an example of kindness for others, and tonight I can see that I have been blessed for making that choice.
